Jesus showed righteous anger when He cleared the temple, fighting against the greed of the leaders who were using God's house for their own gain. How many tables will He have to flip in our lives before we repent and turn to Him? Let's humble ourselves and have the same zeal Jesus had for God's name and honor.
"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Thy name."

Jesus could have filled up the people's cups with wine by just snapping His fingers, or caused a well to suddenly overflow with wine. He could have had a merchant suddenly appear with barrels of it and solved the problem then and there. Why did He choose to work with water, of all things? Water is a plain and common element that we can easily pour on the ground, whereas wine is a beverage that requires preparation and patience to make and can easily be worth thousands of dollars. Perhaps we are the common, regular water that Jesus has selected for His plan to make high quality wine - spiritual leaders who can change human history. But there's a process for such miracles...
Let's find out together how Jesus works to make water into wine! We meet for group Bible study Tuesdays 6:45 pm - snacks and refreshments provided!

"We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
Can you imagine the excitement, the awe John felt when he realized that he had been in the presence of the Almighty God? We are all accustomed to the mundane, gloomy reality of life - so used to filling up our empty hearts with meaningless distractions. Meanwhile, the world becomes colder and darker, full of ugly violence. But don't forget about the amazing reality of Jesus! In times when everything seems to be falling apart, He comes to us personally, changing us from the inside out. Have you seen His glory? Are you looking for it?
Join us for group Bible study tonight at 6:45 pm! We meet Tuesdays in URC 205A, snacks and refreshments provided. Hope to see you there!
